Em is right. No. The DOHC block is completely different from the SOHC block. Very few things are even interchangable. In order to do a SOHC to DOHC swap you need a laundry list of items.

Water jacket and oil passages both. Oil pump is different as well. Pistons, accessories, everything.

To swap from a SOHC to a DOHC NA is about useless anyway. All you are really getting is an extra 1000rpm. Horsepower difference is only really like 25, if that. There have been a few SOHCs shown to dyno 150 to the wheels. (underrated anyone?) And DOHCs generally dyno 170 to the wheels (overrated anyone?)
On top of that, I have ran 15.5 at 91 in my SOHC. That was with bad tires, bad motor mounts, plugs in need of a change, and shitty worn stock struts. Hell I ran a 15.58 on the run I blew my diff. SOHC's can compete and keep up with DOHC's when properly driven and properly modded. Very few DOHC's even get into the 14's.
With my coilovers, solid motor mounts, good tires, LSD, tune up (plugs, new MSD's, cap, rotor, etc) and my newly acquired 3sx lightweight crank pulley I should be able to pull a low low 15. I'll actually be able to launch the car.
My best run was on a 2.35 60'. Even doing the exact same thing but getting a 2.2 60' (which I have done multiple times) that same run would have been 15.2-15.3. And with the LSD and maybe DR's I should be able to net a 2.0-2.1 60'.
All that rambling was to prove a point. Don't waste your time on a DOHC NA swap. For all the hassle it takes to complete the swap it would be a huge waste of effort when for a minimal amount more you can go TT.
