disappearing oil trick

I have a 1991 toyota p/u no oil leaks & can't see it smoking.The truck runs great 27-30 mpg ,in 1300miles it used 2qts oil. Is this magic? I suspect something far for sinister.please help:banghead: :runaround:

OK, when you pull the dipstick does the oil look normal? like a milkshake ?
Check the coolant, does it look normal? like a milkshake ?
What's the exhaust look like ?
If the answer is normal/no, just may be usage due to worn engine (rings, valves, valve guide seals, etc). How many miles on it ?
