Is it best to replace the entire hub assembly, or is it possible (using a press) to simply replace the bearings?
I'm getting some noise in the front end while driving, and with 120,000 miles, I don't want to take any chances. I'd rather just get new bearings in there and not have to worry about getting stuck.
thanks

It must be replaced as an assembly. Make sure the noise is the bearing first, they are too expensive for most people to be guessing.

nice, i had that problem around 120000. only the front left went though. It wasn't cheap and neither was the tow. The guy who had it before me must have welded the nuts on. Crazy?

Wheel hubs are not parts you want to go "cheap" on. You get what you pay for....I used cheap one before and it lasted just over a year. had to do all that work again, plus alignment AGAIN! this time i paid the extra few pennies for a "better" one
