2.5 head gasket

It's been awhile since I tour a motor apart I just installed a new head gasket on a 85 2.5 buick after installing before startup whats the best? a shot of oil in sp.plug holes and turn over or any other Ideas thank you!!

You should be fine without doing anything especially if you just changed the head. If you can disable the ignition in order to pump a little oil first that will work but otherwise just start it up. Allow it to idle for a couple of minutes before reving the engine just so that oil gets to the upper parts of the engine.

Appreciate the help should finish it tommorow What I should be doing is rebuilding the 70 ' 350 instead that I have! Just need a body of something use to have a 1967 R/S Camaro with a punched out 327 baby came on like gang busters!!!!!!!!!!
