1999 Grand Caravan - no autostick

I have a 99 grand caravan ES AWD that works fine except the autostick does not work(nor does the O/D button). It would appear that the transmission does not sense that the gearshift is in the autostick position. The gear shift indicator does not display 1,2,3,4. All other positions light accordingly and the transmission works fine and shifts fine. There are no OBDII codes on the reader nor do I have any other engine lights on. Just noticed that the autostick doesn't work. Thought it was the shift range sensor, but I should get an OBDII code if that's the case. :banghead:

I have a 2000 Caravan that had a simular problem. Brought it to the dealer for repair. Broken wire leading up to the stick shift. Must of been a good tech or a common problem to be repaired within a couple hours.
