i have an 87 jeep wrangler, the clutch was acting up for a few days and the guy that looked at it says that the slave cyl is located inside the trans, so dropping that is goig to cost a bit, he cannot figure out a way to bleed the slave without dropping the trans, any ideas out there, i could really use help.

My master went and I bleed the system from a bleeder screw by the bellhousing I have a 91with an internal slave.
If you crawl under can follow the line into the bellhousing.
On mine there was a bleeder screw just where the line goes into the housing

We may have different trannies mine is the AX15 yours stock would be the Puegot, would make sense though that if you need to replace the master and bleed the system there should be a bleeder screw somewhere
Good Luck
