I remember back in 97 when the Malibu was touted by the trade papers and industry,as the greatest thing since sliced bread. So i bought one in 98, instead of a Camry.

Ask me if i made the right decission? Go ahead?

I'd give this version at least three years to prove itself.

Yes, choosing anything over toyota (even a Honda) is a great choice.

Anyway, I think you should go out and trade that malibu in for an 08'.

I suggest and LS, Dark Grey....but thats me/what I own.

You won't be sorry. The 2.4L is proven and so is the tranny. They both have existed for a few years. No need to worry about first year gremlins at least in the powertrain department.
