so i changed the door seals and still have the same problem, investigated further and found the door hinge weld are breaking, the visible vertical weld is gone, the horizontal welds appear intact but it seems the door is not correct because of this and it causes the leaks. can this be fixed???

My sons 89 was doing the same thing. I took it to the local body shop and $200 later, problem was fixed and it never broke again.
Good luck
