fuel filter problems

hello gm riders,
can some help me?i had a 1987 gmc sierra 1500 5L
i been havin this problem on my truck weeks. i changed the starter 3 times, battery 2-4 times and Fuel pump 2 times, fuel filter twice over the pass 12-18months. for some reason i am not gettin any fuel pressure/power thur the fuel filter even when its dismounted....i tested the pump before installed(passed). battery 12.5v,starter ok, so anyone knows what i should do next to fix this problem?

Just for the sake of justification, is this a throttle body fuel injected engine, and what size is the engine - 5.0, 5.7 liter?
