Remote Key Programming 1994 Lincoln Continental

I have a 1994 Lincoln Continental. I lost my remote key and I got a new and the instruction to program it says that I have to jump the connectors which are located in the back of the glove box. My question is how to do I get there? Or maybe is there an other way not to have to jump any connectors?

1994 Continental Transmitter Programming

NOTE:
The electronic door lock control processor erases all previous transmitters from memory when the transmitters are programmed or re-programmed. The electronic door lock control processor can store up to four transmitters in memory.

To program (or re-program) transmitter(s) into the electronic door lock control processor, perform the following steps:

1.
Turn ignition switch to RUN or ACC position and momentarily short the two terminals of the Program Connector (J4)
(a two-pin connector taped to the wire assembly and accessed by dropping the glove compartment).
All doors should lock then unlock. Remove shorting pin.


2. Press any button on transmitter. All doors should lock then unlock, to verify that transmitter has been programmed.

NOTE:
If door locks do not respond, press button again (up to three times maximum with the same transmitter). If door locks still fail to respond, Use Pinpoint Tests.

3. Repeat Step 2 to program additional transmitters into the electronic door lock control processor (up to four transmitters maximum).

4. Turn ignition switch OFF. All doors should lock then unlock.

5. Check operation.

Glove Compartment

Removal and Installation

1. Open glove compartment door.

2. Remove five screws retaining glove compartment bin to back of door and remove glove compartment bin.

3. Remove two screws retaining glove compartment door handle to door and remove door handle.

4. Remove metal link from back of door handle.

5. Insert key in glove compartment door handle.

6. On back of the door handle, press plate near edge of lock cylinder while pulling out the cylinder with the key.

7. To install, reverse Removal procedure.

First I very much admire you for giving away so much time trying to help people. I was trying to download the manual but was blocked by my ISP filter. I finally figured out the easy way to get to the back of the glove box there are on the two sides of the box a cut in which you pull inward and that releases the hinge. But now I have a problem I can not figure out which two connectors I have to jump?

You'll see in that link, at the bottom of the picture included, the plastic connector where you will put a jumper wire.

As for the ISP block.. I've never heard of anyone having this problem, but if you wish, I can burn a copy back to CD and snail-mail one to you...

Again You are special. I finally got it done. The connector was hidden in the side very hard to get too. In regard to the manual I don't want to make it hard for you so I think I will send you an email with my email address maybe you can send it as an attachment if that will not work I will send you my mailing address.

Mr. Keys describes getting the Glove Box out of the way.
Jumping the open connector is simply connecting the two contacts inside the connector together;
