Well i own a 600 watt JBL amp . (2) 10" Alpine Subwoofers , in a very good Obcon Enclosure . Yet my problem is , the system doesnt pound at all . What is goin on ! , like it definately should pound . I was thinking it might be the way i have the Subs wired in the box . I have the Subwoofers wired in parallel because they are the (4+4ohm) version then only goin to one part of the 2 way amp . The guy at tweeter told me to do so that way . Also , he had me use 8 gauge for the power to the amp . So what am i doing wrong here , all comments will help .

that should be the way to hook it up ... the JBL amps (xxx.1) have 2 sets of speaker outputs on the outside, but they are the same wires on the inside. It only has one channel. I suspect the REAL problem is the positioning of the box. If the amp is not mounted to the box, try moving the box around, facing it in different positions, ect ... If this car is a sedan (has a trunk), make sure the bass can actually get into the passenger compartment.

maybe you have some of the wiring mixed up somewhere. Try unhooking the wires from the second sub and switch them. If that doesn't make it any better, switch them back.

Make sure the subs aren't out of phase of each other. If they are they will cancel each other out and you will have less bass. I've done it before its an easy mistake to make if your not paying close attention to which wires are positive and which ones are negative.
