1997 stuck in 2nd gear

Howdy All. Had a question about a 1997 c/k 4.3l auto. seems to be stuck in second gear. no codes in the computer. Has reverse and 2nd that's it. Any ideas? any help would be appreciated. Thanks for always bailin me out!!
