anti lock light on

i have an eagle talon 95 tsi awd wheni i turn on ther car the anti-lock light turns on. sometimes the anti lock light is off.but when i launch the car the light turns on what should i do?

Sounds like you have a bad wheel sensor... This happened to mine and when the light would go out, the anti-lock brakes would actually kick in and go crazy on a random beautiful summer day... The cheap and simple solution. I tore it all out and converted it to non-anti-lock... Of course you may want to just figure out which wheel sensor is bad and replace it...

Agreed, ABS sensor at the wheel.

in my 92 TSi AWD my antilock came on and what im geussing the main ABS component near the engine would just run after the car was off and sound like a pump until i unplugged it cause it was killing my battery :banghead:
