New Car, Need HELP!

I've got a few choices of a new car.

2007-08 Chevy Impala, Basic, floor shift, Less than 20k Miles.
2007-08 Pontiac Grand Prix, Basic, Dual Exhaust, Less than 20k Miles.
2004-05 Pontaic Grand Prix, GT, Leather and Sunroof, 60k Miles or more.

Anyone have any suggestions for what I should choose? I'm only 16 BTW and the Impala kind of seems like an older persons car.

Yer your 100% right my son, I am old enough to be your grandpa, and the Impala would be my choice, but hey if I was your age the GT rules, go for it, you will look back one day and say I ruled.

i like the styling of the new grand prixs better so I would have to say your second choice.

However if you haven't already do some research on all 3 models, see what has the best reliability, least recalls, least problems and go from there.

Make a list if you have to for each vehicle.

I don't think you should pick any of those cars. You have to take in account your 16 years old. Fresh driver's license and extremely high insurance rates. Find something old that's not a POS and pay cash straight up. Possibly not something you'll want but hey it's better than your bicycle. Sorry for being brutally honest, but I'm 23 and I've learned the hard way myself.

Also, from a performance standpoint the base and GT are exactly the same.

Well of course take the Grand Prix, but get an older one.

Why even look at those cars in the first place? An Accord or Camry V6 is better at being a generic shitbox.

why GM??? why front wheel drive??? don't you want something exciting?

Accords and Camrys are a lot more expensive and have less power and significantly less torque.

You get what you pay for though, most specifically build quality and good residuals.

If he's buying used then residual doesn't really matter.

Also, I haven't been really impressed with the build quality of the current generation camry. I think it's really gone downhill in the current generation since the complexity of the car increased.

Thanks grandpa first of all. Second, that guy that said the new GP they're all the new body just so you know.... The Impala also has a smaller engine, 3.5, the GP on the other hand has the 3800. I know the GT and the Regular one are the same but I'm more into looks right now. We have one but it's got 76k miles and I'm not really into that. Yes I'm a punk and idc I'm getting me a new car haha I don't want no POC, I got a 99' Jeep Grand Cherokee and I regret getting it haha, I want something fast/new/nice and the Grand Prix is my main choice, thanks for the imput though.

I've decided I'm getting a White 05' Grand Prix GT, just looking for one now....

Your funny, I want something new, in my price range, that's pretty quick and sleek. I found a GTP Super Charged 05' with 29,600 miles, me and my dad are going to look at it tomorrow, hopefully this'll be the one.

BTW, merry Christmas
