setting up and tuning safc

how hard is it to set up one and tune it. what do i need to monitor to know im have the rite mix, a timimg monitor? and is there any use for it if u have the stock fuel pump thats not hotwired? will it help?

if your running the stock injectors then no. the stock ecu knows more then you. Even with a hotwired/upgraded fuel pump, the FPR does that job. If you upgraded injectors then yes get a safc and you can prob turn up the boost and tune. To tune you will need a datalogger and even better a wideband 02 sensor.

yeah.. what he said.. haha I have halo dattaloger and it is sick! I like it a lot.. but with you being the hybird you might want to look into some other options.. If you do decide to go with bigger injectors I would get the SAFC.. are you staying with stock turbos? if so I would say get some 450cc injectors..

ok so i can hot wire my fuel pump and turn my boost up to 15 with out the need of bigger injectors and i dont need an afc? im staying with the stock turbos, the stock turbos can only boost 15psi correct?

I have stock turbos on my red 3kgt and I am hitting 19 psi then droping to about 13.. I have 450cc and a SAFC...

you want to risk your engine over 10hp? Seriously. 9b's are way out of their efficiently range around there anyways. (especially 19 :shocked: )
