I have a 97 Ford Contour and for some reason the power door locks just stopped working. The fuse isnt blown, the switch was getting power but when I was trying to fix it i lost power and blew the fuse to the dash board some how :banghead: . I did have a little keyless entry thing but I slipped on ice last winter fell on it and it broke. I cant remember if they stopped working after that. I dont even know if that would cause the problem. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

Does the car have the premium sound system. If so the wires for the door locks go through the factory amp. The amp may be broken and not allowing any power through. The amp is located behind the glove box. Pull the glove box down and its the big silver thing right there, may have to redirect the wires around the amp.
