Well my mother would like some new wipers for her 97 toyota rav4 for xmas.
She wants winter blades. Now i know plenty of places to get blades. I want to get her 100% top notch king shit blades.
Opinions?
I had non winter bosch micro edge blades on my taurus sho and they never saw snow and lasted only 2 weeks with regular rain. Rip off. I took very good care of those and they suck. Waste of cash. 2 years ago i bought my girlfriend michelin blades for anco prices at walmart and they held up for a good long time. Still use them now but they need replacing.
I want to get the BMW of wiper blades for my mother so any input would help.

I just picked up a set of Ancos at Auto Barn, they have the winter ones on sale right now. Regardless, I go through a set every 2 years.

its susally the windshield -not the bade that kills the blade quickly. the older a windshield gets, to more pockmarked it gets and gets abrasives stuck in it. THic just tears the rubber up. The best way to take care of this is to use a claybar on your windshield, then possible buff it up with some polishing compound. Then use rain-x.

I always find the most effective blades are the cheap ones from the petrol station.
