As posted before, I replaced the ignition switch and now it wants to turn over but doesn't. I must have burnedout the ignition when my stall happened. The cylinder has cracked off a piece, (I plan to replace). But I don't think that is the problem. Any expertise?

now it wants to turn over but doesn't.
What does the quote mean?
If by "wants to" you're saying you turn the key and nothing happens but a click under the hood or the starter rotates the engine but, ignition (start) doesn't take place, your ignition switch is good. Here's the power path in order: battery / ignition switch / neutral start switch / starter relay / starter solenoid (on starter).
If you turn the key and not even the starter relay or solenoid clicks then you could have a bad ignition switch. If you see 12vdc come and go on one contact of the starter relay socket or at the starter solenoid (small connection) as you turn the key back and forth from off to start, your ignition switch is good.

Yeah, it rotates the engine but not enough to start it. It makes a whining sound for a couple seconds, but does not start(could that be the selenoid?). It seems to drain the battery a bit, so I put it on the charger. I'll try today to se if it kicks over.

No luck with that. Might starter fluid help, and where does it go? I checked all connections, looks good. Also could it be a fuel problem? Fuel filter is 6mo. old.

could be. turn the key in the ingntion 1 click at a time. i believe on the on potion (key on engine off) u should here a buzzing coming from the rear end. if u do then ur pump is working if not u need a pump.
take off the fuel filter and blow into it. if u can blow through it ur filter has life. if not get a filter.

I'm hearing the fuel pump. Alternator tested positive. Battery is charged but loses charge when trying to start? I'll try the fuel filter soon. I don't quite understand the codes. I switch ignition on, off, on, off, on and the cheeck engine light blinks 13 times (3times hesitates, 5 hesitates, 5). There is no 2 digit number displayed. Is this right? The book says 13 is no change in MAP from start to run. Any one know where my MAP is? 1993 3.0 v6
