no heat

I have no heat in the cab. The coolant level is full, the engine is to running temp. Everything works fine inside, ie. a/c, blowermotor, bash lights, radio, ect. I have not got the headlights working yet. Maby they are related, dont know, any help would be great.

I had the same problem with my '00 Blazer 4x4 after I bought it. I had to flush out the heater core. To check if it is the heater core run your Blazer up to normal temperature then touch the hoses going into the heater core (two black hoses going into the firewall). They should both be about the same temperature "Hot". If one is is luke warm while the other is very hot then the heater core is plugged. Just disconnect the hoses from the heater core or the engine block and run water from a garden hose through one then the other until it runs clear. You should see a big difference in the water flow once it gets unclogged. Just hook the hoses back up and warm the car up then try the heat again. It should be Ok now. You'll have to top off the anti-freeze tank after you run it a little to replace the one that you flushed out. Hope this helps.
