'99 ford explorer rotors seized -fixed part 2

I recently posted about my rotors seized on '99 ford Explorer 4.0 xlt. I didn't mean both but just front drivers side. It came off after spraying inside rotor, hub side. Wife had to work next day so I wanted to know if it worked on pas. side. Pulled tire, brake caliper bracket, and tried to take off. Seized, wouldn't budge with BFH and all, just like the drivers side. Sprayed inside of rotor from hub side, waited to let it soak in and tried again, less than an hour. It popped off. I think we might be on to something. After pulling rotor, sanded front side of hub, Lubricated with anti-seize and replaced rotor, just like drivers side. Just to let you know. This could be a fix.

Thanks for the update. Good information! Hopefully as more people try it out, they follow up here with their successes.

Just a note to be conservative with the anti seize. You certainly won't want to put so much on that when hot it flows and gets on the braking surface. Granted, it would have to be enough to flow around some bends or through the gap between the wheel studs and the rotor. Just keep in mind when it comes to anti-seize, more is not necessarily better.

Shorod. You got me thinking about that anti-seize I put on the hub. I didn't put that much on but now I'm rethinking that. I'm pulling the wheels and take a look to see if anything is seeping. Didn't think about that at all when I did the repairs. Just thought if I had to do it again for any reason, they would come off easier. Thanks
