Keyless remote for 99 Ranger

Hi,

I have just purchased a '99 Ranger Supercab XLT, 4 dr, 4X4 that has been well cared for.
I want to buy the keyless remotes for as offered by several vendors on ebay, but there seems to be several opinions as to which remote will work on this truck.

Will someone who has a '99 ranger with keyless remote please post the numbers from the back of the remote?

They should resemble one of these formats:

FCC ID: GQ43VT4T

TRW INC 3165189

or

F87B-15K601-AA

FCC ID : GQ43VT11T

CAN : 1470 102 326

or something similar.

I have read several posts by those who could not get their new remotes to program and I wonder if they were sold the wrong ones.

By the way, I have cycled the ignition switch as directed and gotten the door lock response indicating that it will go into programming mode.
