1996 Astro AWD ??

I found a 1996 Astro AWD 198,000 miles, Runs good but needs some brake work and the top of the Dutch door doesn't latch.... There asking $1000 is this a good deal ?? Or should I shy away from it???

Is the rear latch something Common ????

It sounds like a decent deal, I would still like to see them take 8- 850. Check and see if the brake fluid is leaking or if it just some rotors and pad/ drums and shoes that you need. The back hatch should be a cheep fix even if you have to get some new parts or even some used ones from your local junk yard. If you are lucky it might just be a fuse or a bad connection. As long as you are only looking for a year or so I would go for it, good luck.
