Shifty Tranny

I have a 02 that has 150,000 miles. Recently I noticed that in stop and go traffic I can feel the tranny shift more noticeably. It's not a great big thud. Before the shifts were always smooth but now I notice them. Also, the tranny seems to shift back and forth between gears quite a bit. I regularly have the tranny fluid and filter replaced - every 2 years or 36,000 miles which ever is first. The last time was 5 months ago and there was no indication of any excessive amount of filings or discoloration of the fluid. Is this tranny finally showing signs of wear? I want to dump some Lucas in and see what happens. The car otherwise is A1.

Many things can cause this, if it continues a full scan with a trans function scanner can look at the operation of one or more troublesome solenoids in the trans that can cause this.
