Hi, im selling my VR6 jetta for 8000 soon to get something a bit more tunable after i blew my turbocharger.
Im very interested in the mx-5 for its compact weight, rwd, and what seems to be cheap part list.

i will ahve about 8 grand to put into one i was wondering if yall could help lay out a plan of attack on what to buy.
the average cost of 95 miatas here in texas is about 5 grand and i understand the older models need some work befor ethey can be turboed.
any ways, any advice is welcome.
so far im looking at a greddy turbo kit, some sort of exhaust pefferably greddy but it seems borla is more viable, an intake and headers.

I realise you might be one of those people who enjoys building their own car and whatever, but you can save a lot of money buying a car already with a lot of the parts on it for about 5k. For more info on turbo miatas you can check out miataturbo.net they probably have some of the best info on the web.
