08 Civic LX, 2 weeks old, brake and tire problems

I bought my 2008 Civic LX 2 weeks ago today. It had 270 miles on it, and I"ve put about 200 miles on it myself. Suddenly the tire pressure sensor light came on and at the same time, my brakes seem unusually sensitive. I checked the tires and they were each about 2 pounds under, so I inflated to 32 PSI as indicated but the light will not go off. I don't know if the brake sensitivity is related.

What could cause the brakes to suddenly be so sensitive? If the computer sensor is off (such as with the tire pressure indicator) could this affect brakes as well?

Also, with the tire pressure sensor light staying on, even with the pressure correct, is it safe to drive it?

Your light is on when your pressure is correct.. Right now? IF so on a car as new as this bring that right back to the dealer.
