hi
my 2003 taurus started leaking a/c water inside on the pass. side.
i checked the draintube on the outside and it is clean.
does the draintube go out or does it have something like a drain pan?
how hard is it to repair can i do it myself?
thanks,elizar22

There is a TSB Technical service Bulletin out on this.
Ford will install a "rainhat" somewhere up in the cowling over the location of the cabin filter. Your car may or maynot actually have a cabin filter but if it doesn't now would be a good time to just install the filter in there.
Ford just started leaving it out for some reason (cheapness)
What will eventually happen is the moisture will cause your blower motor resistor to short out.
The TSB also covers fixing the blow motor problem.
