switching computer and BCM from a 99 to a 00

Hello I have a 2000 Sunfire that has manual windows, 4 dr, AT and a 1999 Sunfire, 4 dr, AT, with power windows. The 2000 model theft system is messing with the vehicle's performance. It will not start nor move. It will turn over, but dies out within seconds. On the other hand the 1999 model operates perfectly. If I take out the computer plus the BCM out of the 99 and put it into the 2000, will it function properly, or will it be a mistake. Both cars have over a 100,000 miles on them. Thanx for the help.

the best thing to do is call up a part store or a dealer and ask them it the computors are the same and if they have to be programed to the car or if it is just a plug and play.
