Hello all, new to the forum.
I recently bought a 2001 Rodeo Sport and no manual so I thought I would come here and see if anyone could answer my question.
In regards to WINTER button, I used it for the first time in the snow, and it stayed on until I reached about 5 mph and then would turn off.
So what is the secret to this? Should it stay on?
And this may seem so stupid but does that mean it goes to 4x4 or all wheel drive. ( no laughing..lol:iceslolan )
And when do I use the POWER button?
Any and all help is appecriated! Thank you!

:) The winter buttion starts you out in 3rd gear instead of 1st so you wont slip as much. It will go off automatically at a very low speed, I think mines about 25 mph. It is just used to start you on a slippery surface. The winter button does not put the truck in 4W or take it out of it.
The power button just chages the shift point for the transmission to a higher rmp so you have more power, its used for towing a trailer are for the mountains. As for the 4 wheel drive, it isnt in it till you put ur truck in 4 wheel High or Low. If you have manual hubs you will have to lock them to be in 4W drive. The auto hubs do this for you. I hope this helps:) Andie
