:grinyes:Yes that block came with the car & it was runig but it had a knocking noise inside the ingine. :icon16:I don't know if it's an American engine or a Japanese engie because I bought one in a shop & the guy toll me if my engine was a American or a Japanese engine (it wasent the right one) so I don't know if somebody can tell me how to fine out what kind of engine it is please let me know:). On the block has this #'s 4G63 RP1047

Yeah, actually Brian, if my memory serves all 6 bolts were made in Japan and in late 92 when they switched to 7 bolts those were made here in the states. I actually read an article that blamed CW on that fact.

Yeah a lot of 4G63s were produced in japan because they put them in the GVR4s over there along with the EVOs
