Ill keep it short and simple...
Car: 93 Civic EX (manual trans)
Does my car have a neutral wire?
Getting new alarm and remote start installed... and the installer wont install the start unless theres a neutral wire. He wont install switches because he said they are too unreliable

No there isn't one that I know of. You could use part # 689M from Directed Electronics though.

neutral is associated with auto trannys. Putting auto-start on a manual tranny is a lot more work.

PaulD, not always. There are some vehicles with manual trannys that have a nuetral wire simular to how the nuetral lights work on motorcycles. Granted its few and far between though. DEI's part number 689D makes it an effective and safe install for a starter to be installed in a manual car.

Wow, I've been waiting for this module for a bout a year, and I forgot it was coming out! I'll definitely be picking this up and finding my relay satellite for my Viper 5900 :)
