Has anyone seen this movie? It's quite possibly one of the wierdest movies I have ever seen, right next to A Clockwork Orange.

I own it on DVD hehehe. Good movie, very interesting, and well done despite the very low budget.
I also have "Requiem for a dream" which is by the same director and is also very good. Can't remember the lead actor's name, but it also stars Jennifer Connelly and Marlon Wayans.

On the topic of Crappy movies...
Two weeks ago, at the end of year excersion, we had to watch "Molokai, The story of brother Damien". I don't think it is a new movie, but it was the most boring movie I have ever seen.

Well... I've seen in twice. I would call it a good, interesting film. Me being very into M theory (previously string theory) is was quite interesting as the idea that one day we will have a formula. We will solve it, and the answer will be the mathmatical double of our universe.
Any how, I don't think it's a film I'd wanna watch alot... But it was thought provoking :D

Its wierd in that its a unique movie, theres nothing else like it. And the music IS wierd. But it fits everything so well. A Clockwork Orange was just done so well, you could feel the emotions of the characters. Like when he was drinking the wine in that guys house, you could feel the tension building.
I liked Pi because it was unique. And I started watching Requiem for a Dream last night, after I watched The Ring (another excellent movie:) ). But I only got like 20 minutes into it before I got too tired to watch it, besides, I wasn't awake enough to actually enjoy the movie anyways.
And yes, The Cell was a waste of everything.

Clint Mansfield (spelling?) did the music. I downloaded some if a while back... It's kinda creepy in a cool sorta way.
Probly won't like it if you don't like electronic music at all. It's kinda... uhhh Gothic Techno/Trance... :silly:

3.141592654 as a movie SUCKED. Sorry, but even as a math person, I couldn't bear that movie. The only line of the movie: "When I was 6, my mother told me never to look at the sun. So when I was 7, I did." or something as ghey as that.
The Ring wasn't as "scary" as everyone says, but it was VERY cool, IMHO. I wasn't creeped out about the whole 7 days thing. Sorry. I just liked how it made me get goosebumps in parts. Loved the ties together and how ALMOST everything is related. ;)
I've honestly never seen Clockwork Orange. I know. :o I know.
Another oddity to add to this list of strange/outlandish movies is Mulholland Drive. Very good. Just when you think you have it, you don't.
