Good hell, FINALLY! Integra GS-R vs Stealth R/T TT

Holy shit! I actually had a half decent race.

I was headed to show Jason my wheels since he's considering buying them. On the way over I came across a lowered GS-R with a fart canon on the back. I was just cruising in the slow lane and he was over in the fast lane. He suddenly speeds up for no reason. I couldn't figure why but I thought, why not have some fun with him. I pulled into the center lane and got next to him. We were coming up to a semi in my lane so I speed up to get in front. He followed suite and gave it some gas, like most people in Utah do when you try to pass them. I was in 5th going 80mph and I gave it about half throttle and walked on him. I put about almost two cars on him before I pulled in front. We came up on someone else and he got right on my ass. They moved to the center lane. I decided to drop it to 4th and give it about the same amount of throttle. This time he gave it everything. The results were about the same. I walked away pretty handily. He gave up after I left him about five cars back which didn't take long.

That was satisfying because I didn't expect him to be that easy.

I still have it and a dirt old computer with DOS to play it. :iceslolan

I had thought we got the ITR, wasn't sure though. So, I ended up racing the second best. Well, it was better than a Prius or Fox/Whateverthehellthatwas. I still am surprised it pulled on him that bad.

Then again. I think they fixed my butt dyno in the hospital. Both cars seem faster than before i went in.

I've seen Yellow, White, and Black. I have no idea why he wants yellow, but its his cash. I told him to just buy something else, but he is dead set on it. Oh, and he wont pay more than 18k for it, lol. I was like...well, I'd like to find a MkIV Turbo with under 50k miles in bone stock condition for about $22k, but you eventually have to WTFU.

Yeah, I've tried two different Porsche Boxters and they wouldn't even look at me. Same with an Audi S4. I even got that shit from a guy in a convertible Mustang GT.

I don't get it though since I had a guy want to race me in my old GTC in a 911 along with a debadged Mark IV Supra. I even managed to get a guy to blow my doors off in the Ferrari 575 for fun.

It was a Turbo model, my guess would be 1999-2001. That was back in 2001 and he had temp tags on it. I have no idea why he was trying to pick a fight with a LeBaron. I yelled and told him not to waste his fuel. Perhaps he had just gotten it and just wanted to romp on it no matter what it was against. I guess he saw that it said turbo on the side and wanted to race. Maybe I was the fastest car he could find on his way home from the dealer.

Who knows?

As an owner of an Integra GS-R I think this is kind of funny. A naturally aspirated 4 cylinder with FWD vs a twin turbo 6 cylinder with AWD...how satisfying was this race really? Go race some bigger dogs, we integras only have 128lb-ft torque while you romp 320ish; I'm not raining on the parade...I just think you need to go race something with 300hp or up; much more credible victories

Since buying my Stealth last year I've only managed to get two other people to race me and I wasn't even trying to get them to. With the 3" exhaust the top end has opened WAY up. From a dig the Stealth would drop the GTC like a bad habit, but from a roll, at freeway speeds, the GTC isn't too much slower.

In that same scenario I'm guessing the second run would have been about three cars instead of five.

Stock they are said to put down 174HP and 210 ft/lbs of torque. I have a full 3" mandrel bent exhaust from the turbo back and I've heard of people gaining approximately 40HP on a stock TII since the stock exhaust is so restrictive. I would tend to believe this because the clutch started to slip slightly after I put it on. It is an old clutch, 88,000 miles.

So, I'm guessing about 210HP and around 230 ft/lbs of torque in a 2,800 pound car.

I see you're new here too, drop the attitude.

Since you newbies don't get it I have type out a long sob story to shut you up. I've been pretty sick for about seven years now. It had gotten worse over time and the last three were pretty bad. Nothing was enjoyable anymore, to the point that my cars felt like they were even slow. I spent my time working and sleeping. I didn't have the energy to do anything else. I ended up in the hospital twice, had surgery, and now I feel better than I can ever remember feeling. I enjoyed working on my cars and driving them again.

That is why I had expected the GS-R to do better. It seemed too easy.

Excuse me for enjoying myself, it's been a while.

Yeah, new as hell, I quit the forums due to lack of interest and rejoined for a look around. But of course being new to a FORUM automatically makes us less knowledgeable, and also removes our right to an opinion. I came here to have a general read, and as such, I am entitled to my general opinion.

Lets look at it this way, if you're that fast, and that hard up for a race, make it legal, make it mature, hell, make it much more reliant on skill, and take it to the track.

Yes, you're entitled to your opinion. My jab at him was a joke because he didn't know the situation, thus the emoticon. You, on the other hand just to have a defensive attitude from the start as well as having no idea of the situation. If either of you had been here for a few months you'd have known that. Clearly you don't know the history of Polygon and what he has gone through. The guy does take it to the track. Tracks aren't open this time of year in Utah if you think about it kid...you know...being winter and all.

What else does one do if you don't have a track open? Oh yeah...street race. He said it I don't know how many times that he has tried to find greater cars worth racing. Look up his history. He has tried on several occasions to snag a good race with a V8, an Audi S4, and a few others. They didn't snag.

So just because some ricer who happens to own an Integra, just like you, gets raped by his 300+ hp vehicle, that's no reason to get all defensive and say "Go pick on bigger cars...wah wah wah". He was happy because he actually got a race "worth posting about".

This is what we do here. We post about racing incidents. We meet someone. We race them. We post about it. In case you didn't understand that, try reading some other threads here to get the idea. Not fucking rocket science here. Get the idea?

And you want to talk shit behind a computer screen. "Bring your car to FL". Give me a fucking break. You're one of those kids that doesn't talk shit in reality, but rather in a room where you can sit there with your keyboard and let your fingers do more shit talking that you ever could. Bring your car to Utah and race Poly if you have such an amazing GS-R. I highly doubt you would...because who wants to travel 3000+ miles to find a race? Get a fucking clue dipshit.

If you really want one I can help you find one but they are hard to come by. They made less than 2,000 of the Turbo II models and even the Turbo I is tough to find. I can find a lot of other turbo Mopars like a Daytona with the Turbo II, much more common, and it's really the same car. Hell, you could start with a Turbo I as long as it's an '89 and convert to a Turbo II or mod the piss out of it the same way I'm doing mine.

Just let me know, I can find a lot of cars and they are dirt cheap.

I'm sure you have fast cars, my old roomate had a GTC with 5 speed (I learned manual on that car)and my GS-R was faster and race proven. His dad owned a muffler shop and he had full exhaust too. My mildly modified GS-R barely, and I mean barely, gets me under a 15 seconds at the track in Bithlo; it's slow. In fact, I hate paying $20 to get like 2 drags in and get reved at by civics, I enjoy a street race myself. I have no tricks up my sleeve about a faster car, nope I would be beaten by a twin turbo torque monster, and your race just proves it. But damn, you gotta find someone who owns a faster car and race them 'cause theres no challenge in a 5-4 downshift that leads to a victory. Good luck in other races, and I'd still tar and feather you if you came to Orlando sir

Btw, for whoever thought that I was a pussy hiding behind a computer; I get into physical altercations almost everytime I go to work as I bounce at Orlando's great strip club The Doll House. In case it mattered, you know where to find me to further insist of me being a puss

Wow, sounds like you've really made a good lot in life.

If we are gonna compare numbers, then fine. I started on my high school varsity team at offensive line when I was a sophmore, and made all state o-line junior and senior year. I then went on to play college ball, and started as a freshman, played three years before getting bored with football, and got two big ass Conference Championship rings. I still lift regularly.

But, I also have a college degree, and working on jumping into Law School here, so I'm smart enough and mature enough not to drive down to Florida to beat the piss out of some bouncer who thinks he's top shit because he has a GS-R and gets to look at tits for free.

Wowza, looks like I'm starting to divide the masses and I'm just more set on telling this guy that his beastly motor and awd should be taking on cars of its catagory.
You aren't dividing anyone. Your getting more and more people to unite and call you a dip shit.

You know...you should really proof read your posts. Because either you'd win or loose, you can't do both. Or did they teach you otherwise in stripper bouncer school?

But damn, you gotta find someone who owns a faster car and race them 'cause theres no challenge in a 5-4 downshift that leads to a victory.

How fucking retarded are you? I swear, you must be the stupidest individual alive. He said above that he's tried to get better races, but no one will bite. Really, just QFT. Do the world a favor and go get a vasectomy. You shouldn't reproduce, ever.

In closing, I leave you with this quote, which sums up your very presence on the forums perfectly:

Mr. always8krpm, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Peace, I'm out.

Thank you for your closing, it was heart felt and made me feel warm inside. It also reminded me of alot of immature whinning. You're truely beating this horse to death about how many races you haven't gotten recently; fantasmic. I'm glad one came around for you, just like the title said, 'FINALLY'. This is my college job as I'm graduating in may from UCF with a degree in criminal justice and a hopeful for a local police force; sufficet to say I don't street race all that often. I said whoever thought I'm a Puss knows where I am and I'm willing to bet that nobodys going to show; I didn't say I'm flying to Utah to fight Poly, did I? Worthless as you may feel my comment to have been, inside you understand that you need to be racing faster shit and that was I was trying to tell you. Man up son, and stop getting upset when people tell you things you should already know.

Interesting. Your friend owned a GTC. If your GS-R beat it then it was a Turbo I. My last GTC was stock and pulled a 14.8 @ mile high raceway. So, if you want me to bring the GTC down to sea level I'll be glad to give you a sever ass whipping with it. I know how fast it is at lower alt, I drove it here from Ohio.

Like I said, I've tried to get bigger races. Utah isn't quite as big into car culture as Orlando.

As for physical altercations. I wouldn't be up for such a thing yet. When I got out of the hospital I was 123 pounds. At 6' 2" that's pretty bad. I'm climbing, back to 182 right now. As soon as I can I'm hitting the gym, after that we'll talk.

Vector, when the time comes if you want a GTC, or any other TM just let me know. I'll be more than happy to help you pick one.

As for this thread. It's gone on long enough. I'm going to close it and give you one last warning always8krpm. If you do this in any other thread I will give you another vacation from AF for not following the rules.

As I said before, PM me or start a new thread in off topic if you wish to discuss this further.
