Death Wobble

Hello, I have a 92 c/k 3500, 2WD, manual trans, 454, 1ton dually.
I have the death wobble starting so I need to get busy on the front end rebuild what all do I need to do, I am the original owner and the truck runs perfect (kept up on engine/tranny/rear end maint.) ball joints, shocks, what else to do it right and where to buy the correct parts the first time?

If you havn't already, check to see what exactly is loose. Then replace those parts. I always use Moog chassis parts, never had a problem.

It is possible that REALLY out of balance tires could cause a bad wobble too. I've had mud on my wheels after offroading and at 30 mph it feels like the wheel is bouncing off the ground

Moog is definitly the better aftermarket parts available. I've always used them in the past. I have however used the polyurethane (black) bushings & end links on the anti-roll bars and they have performed very well there.

My buddy used polyurethane (Performance Suspension) everywhere on his S-10, and it rides great. The only problem is it squeaks like crazy, like an old 60's car would when a fat guy/girl gets out of it. He may not have installed them correctly but my money is definitly with stock replacement Moog parts.

hi i have 1992 3500hd and it does'ent have ball joints it has king pins!and front leaf springs.

Make sure you dont have any water in you tires ,, had a new truck several years back and had a tire that was leaking ,, getting air in strange places and ended up withn about a gallon of water in my tire,,, woble sometimes and at differrent speeds,,,, like ridin in a pea thrasher but did not do it all the time,, ,,,,,,,,a few cans of fix aflat will do the same thing
