i have a sohc and i found a dohc engine with low miles for $900, i was wondering would i be able to use my sohc tranny with the dohc, also what else would i need for the swap, i know the ecu and i know how the dohc has coilpacks and the sohc has a distributor...or should i just get my sohc engine rebuilt??my sohc ticks sometimes and i cant determine why so i just though of doing a swap or rebuiliding but it runs good but it will tick sometimes and then it will go away... i don't know but when i hear it i hate it, i just want a reliable engine.... wut should i do??

.... I can hook you up.. you just gota ask.. haha.. I can probably get you a engine with a 100 day warrenty.. if you wanted longer it would cost more.. but if the engine has problems you should know right away..

I'm pretty sure the transmissions are the same.. Do you have ATX or MTX?
