hey all, if some-one has any reference pics of a standard top-mount intercooler, from a ST205 celica GT-four, could you please post them? im getting a Tamiya 1/24 celica model, and ive looked at a few finished ones, and tamiyas excuse for an intercoler doesnt cut it with me.please help me out.
and while im typing this, im going to take this opportunity to vent my spleen so to speak, :licka:
something that really annoys me, for unknown reasons, is when people build GT-four celica kits, put an intercooler out the front of the car, but leave the incredibly obvious standard one of the engine still, i havent seen it on AF yet,but i saw it on a model in a local comp a few yrs back, still annoys me :icon16:
ok, i feel better now.
Oh! and one more thing, anyone who has built the tamiya 1/24 GT-four kit, how does the standard intercooler attach to the rocker cover? i ask because i want to know if there will be any lugs, or holes left on the rocker cover if i leave the intercooler off.
cheers

The st205 used an air to water intercooler and matches what Tamiya had in the kit.
