93 Explorer will not start <Need help finding starter

ok last week i got in my truck and attemped to start it. i just got one single click for under the so just the thinking it was the batt i boosted the batt and it started so this monday i got in my truck and attempted to start it again just one click so it turn the ignition a couple of time and it started so i parked for about two hours and the same thing a couple of turn to the ignition and it would not start tried to boost still just one click so i turned the ignition a couple of time again and it started up now today nothing will work i change the solinod and still just one click and im thinking that its the starter but i can not locate it to replace it <need help finding the starter!!!!!!!!

Can't tell you specifically where the starter is on your '93, but would expect it's on the driver's side on the engine just inside the driver's side front wheel. It has to make contact with the flywheel which is located between the engine and transmission, and the engine in your Explorer is longitudinal which would put the starter near the firewall.
As for the symptoms, typically a low battery will cause a series of clicks of the solenoid as it drops in and out due to low battery voltage. The voltage isn't able to hold the solenoid in. Since you are geting a single click, the voltage is sufficient to hold the solenoid in, but the starter is not engaging. I'd say with pretty high confidence the starter assembly is the issue in your case.

Yes it is on the driverside the bolts of it go through the tranny into the bellhousing, if the ground wasn't muddy I'd go out and take a pic a show ya.
