Hey i was wondering if this putty http://www.hlj.com/cgi-local/hljpage.cgi?WAVOM-031 was any good and if so about how many body kits could i do with it. or is http://www.hlj.com/cgi-local/hljpage.cgi?TAM87052 this any good (i like it more because its in stock). thanks

Both are fine, although i've only used the tamiya stuff. The tamiya stuff probably isn't enough to do more than a complete body kit, though. It comes in 2 strips that you cut equal amounts from and combine. I recommend using it after doing a lot of planning on making something. The stuff is too expensive to make a bumper out of and then decide to trash it :(.

Best putty around is DYNATRON Puttycote.
It's a two part mix type that's a light blue in color. This stuff can be polished to a mirror finish. It drys in about 15 min. It also has some styrene fillers in it, so you can actually glue stuff to it with model glue. I learned about from my friend Bill Geary who has won some of the biggest contests in the USA. You won't find a better putty. It has to purchased at an Automotive Paint supplier. Check out this link on it.
