Hi Guys, sorry im not going to be able to put much info about the actual car as it is my uncles, however periodically when driving, the car just cuts out. All the dash lights come on, and he just shifts it to neutral and restarts and it will run fine until the next time.
Is in barbados so there are no GM guys here to diagnose. ANy ideas or suggestions on what it could be or the first place we should start looking?
Thanks

Ignition switch? There have been some problems with wear in the switch down on the steering column.
Spark control module?
How many miles on the motor? Year?

Not to detract from what you're saying, but I Had trouble with a Regal Neutral safety switch. A lot of times it would not start unless it was in neutral. The cable had stretched and needed adjustment.
My 2 cents worth

Have your Uncle disconnect the battery cables, remove the bolts and rubber boots then clean the ends of the battery cables with sandpaper or a wire brush. It's very important to remove the rubber boot so he can clean where the two cables come together. Apply some dielectric grease to help prevent future corrosion & reasemble. Very common problem. Let us know if this helps or not.
