Hi, could use a little help. Just finished installing a auto starter in a 2001 sportage, without thinking about the knee airbag being unplugged I actuated the remote. Now even with the air bag put back together, the light still flashes. Is there any way to reset it besides the dealer-- my snapon scanner won't do it. There is nothing wrong with the system, I figure it stored a code when the bag was dis-connected.

thanks:frown:

Without a scanner (Hyundai is very exclusive) there is no way to reset the light.
Sorry

Lots of vehicles have Knee airbags. This particular model started using them in 1996.
