I finally got the line repaired, but now, i have another problem, the other line i have to replace is out of reach, is there a temporary way to seal the leak, so i can get it to a garage? Also, is it possible to put the break shoes on so the one that goes on bottom goes is on top and vise versa?

Dont say I said it: but I have twice in my life driven a car (to get it home to where I fixed things) by crimping the brake line shut with vise grips, and then folding it back on itself and crimping again with the vise grips. It was only a few miles to get it home, and strictly speaking I suppose it was illegal. So is speeding. I was mildly surprised that I noticed No Difference in the brakes during the drive.
Your question about the brake shoes confused me. On mine (92) the shoes were facing front or facing rear, with the wheel cylinder between them at the top of the brake backing plate. In many cases the shoes will only fit one way, but the Escort shoes might be different - I dont recall.
In any case, they need to go back correctly - thats why a service manual is valuable.

On the brake shoes, you should have 4 of them. Two have a shorter lining and two have a longer lining. The shoes with the shorter lining go on the front and the shoes with the longer lining go on the rear.

front short ( ) rear long
