The other day i hit a vicious pot hole and my abs/tcs lights came on, i now have no traction control or anti-lock brakes? Is this maybe some sort of sensor or sensors that i need to replace? I can't seem to find the sensor that i think it is, local automotive stores don't even have the part that i think it is, but i'm not a mechanic either, i'm a poor man so i gotta fix it myself, can i do it? Please help a po bro!?:shakehead

Check connector at wheel you think was most hit when travelling the pot hole. The sensors are part of the bearing assembly at each wheel and the connector is at the back. Of course, a scanner will pinpoint the exact sensor that causes the problem...I'm told Autozone will scan for free....(not sure it applies to brake codes also.) Unless you have to pass state test, driving the car "unassisted" is OK with me....:) ..the lights might be an annoyance...

there is a speed sensor on each wheel and you probably jarred the connector loose look behind the wheel you hit the hole with and look for a curved wiring harness at the end of it will be a connector push it back on till it is tight . my wife's puppies chewed her sensor wires into on her van and after i spliced them back together the lights went off .
