91 Cutlass Supreme Engine Cuts Out/Stalls

Hey there, thanks in advance for any advise
I've got a '91 Cutlass Supreme which will cut out intermittently when coming to a stop, stopped and once when I was taking a corner from a stop. I usually don't have a problem starting it, unless it's right after a stall/cut out has happened (where it's different amounts of time/start attempts to get her going again). If I let it warm up, it'll cut out fairly soon after driving away, so I'm thinking something has to do with heat. I've got a place to look at it for Thursday this week and just want to point them in the right direction. The wierd part is that in park it doesn't do this, only once moved and come to a stop/similar. I've read elsewhere that the TCC solenoid can cause this, would that be a legitamite request. I've changed the fuel filter and had them do a fuel system cleaning but it didn't clear the issue. I'm also pointed towards the cam sensor, fuel pump and ignition module as they can cause issues with heat.
Any help is greatly appreciated. :icon16:
Thanks!
Kris

Welcome to AF, the tcc issue would not cause the engine to fail to start. You now must isolate, when it does not restart, whether you have spark and/or fuel pressure. A weak fuel pump could be at fault or a bad crank sensor, or ign module.

Today I took it to a place but they wouldn't look because there was no check engine light. I'm gonna try to replace all plugs and wires if I can (not the easiest on this car with the freezing weather and no garage). One thing I did notice, not sure how I didn't before is a constant ticking under the hood. If you're familiar with the car it's on the drivers side of the engine. I'm thinking the pump is about to crap the bed, but open to suggestion.
Thanks,
Kris

Found this to be the coil packs and the crank sensor. Good to go now. I'm thinking my ECM will need a replacement as I got a reading from the computer (coil packs/ignition module) but the engine light was never lit. Still had failure so I went with the crank sensor and she's back to being a (living) beast.

Those year cars usually will not set a code for those issues.

try the ignition module, this will help

I know your problem is fixed but did the car kill or stall when turing on hte heat/AC/Defrost?
