Please Help! I am trying to replace the front rotors on my 06 avalon. I have the caliper off but the rotor will not bulge. Should the rotor easily slide off once the caliper is removed? Does something in the hub area need to be removed?
thanks

After the caliper mount is removed, the rotor is free to slide off the hub. Before you remove the rotor, place matchmarks on the rotor and hub so that the rotor will be replaced with the same orientation as it was removed.
There are two holes in the rotor inside the lugs where you can screw bolts. If some persuasion with a plastic mallet on the rear of the rotor doesn't dislodge it, thread two bolts into the rotor through these holes and tighten them evenly once resistance is felt. They will pull the rotor off the hub.

I have a Toyota repair manual for your vehicle as a CD image. Download it from here (http://www.rocknet.org/Community/FlintLedge/05-07%20Avalon.iso).
