I have a real stumper, but know you gurus can handle it. I have a 02 Alero, Auto, V6 that I bought after it was mostly repaired from a front right wreck. I have posted about it before. This summer my ABS,Trac and SVS lights would come on about 50% of the times I drove it. I pulled the RF wheel and found a spot where I thought the wiring was being crushed due to incorrect routing. Put it where it should be but no help. The hubs do not roar or make any noises so I don't really think they or the sensor is bad. As soon as it got below 60 degrees, the lights never come on. I bought it late last winter and there were no lights then either, only as spring and summer came. Does any one have a clue how temps could cause this.
Thanks, Mike

You can't tell if a wheel sensor is bad by listening to mechanical hub noise. Many times there is no correlation between the two. It needs to be scanned with an ABS capable scan tool like a GM Tech II. The wheel sensors are temperature sensitive to include the EBTCM module.

Also, you can check wheel sensor resistance with a DMM. They will read around 1K ohms. Just pull the electrical connector at the backside of the hub and go across the two contacts hub side.
