i have a 99 metro 1.3, auto, AC, no PS. i need to remove and replace the AC belt and the accessory belt. i'm used to vehicles with belt tensioners, is there one on this that i'm not seeing, or am i going to have to remove a bolt from the AC or alternator to get each belt off? thanks for any input.
BTW, can anyone tell me the lengths of the belts needed for my setup?

There is a tensioner pulley on the A/C belt mounted on the A/C compressor bracket, between the compressor and the block. Loosen the center bolt (14mm?) and turn the adjusting screw (10mm?) the opposite way you would expect to release the tension.
The alternator - water pump belt is tensioned by rocking the alternator, two bolts on the bottom act as hinges, one on the top slides in a slot, all three 14mm if I recall correctly.

Woodie, excellent reply per usual. Ten welcome to the forum. I'd just like to add that the a/c tension consists of a 14mm and 12mm, and that all the alternator mounting bolts are 12mm.

As I was writing all that with the question marks I did think that if I wasn't sure I shouldn't be shooting my mouth off. Thanks Matt

No worries, Woodie. I certainly didn't mean to come in here like the best thing since sliced bread and defile your post, just trying to contribute and clarify. Glad you didn't take offense, I was hoping not to come across that way.
