That is a symptom of a plugged up Fuel Filter.

I've had several vehicles do that same thing and they all had Fuel Filters full
of crap.

What happens is that the crap in the tank (rust flakes and dirt) collects on the
Fuel Filter's paper surface and eventually plugs it enough to starve the engine out.

When you stop and set for a few minutes, the fuel pressure dies off and the
flakes of stuff fall away allowing you to start up again and drive for a while
before it happens all over again.

I was once on a trip and my car (VW Rabbit) just died in Bend, Oregon at 8 AM
on a Sunday morning on the Freeway!

Nothing open - nobody around and I was with my girlfriend on a trip from
Spokane, Washington to Tustin, California....I was screwed!

So, using my many years of automotive experience and sheer terror at being
stranded, I figured the engine wasn't getting fuel. Didn't act electrical.

It did what yours is doing. That cannot be electrical.

So I deduced the only thing it could be was the Fuel not getting to the
injectors - therefore the Fuel Filter.

I disconnected the Fuel Filter, Blew air backwards thru it by mouth
(gasoline tastes hideous!) and a ton of reddish rust colored crap spewed out on the road!

Note the directional arrows stamped on the Fuel Filter....

I put it back (didn't have a spare!) and the Rabbit started up and I drove over
2,500 miles more on it (never stalled again!) before I could get a new Fuel Filter and replace it.

Lesson - Have a spare Fuel Filter in your tool box.

PS - I could be wrong and your problem is something else.....who knows.
Lots of things can go wrong in a car.
