Lock actuator help!!!!

:banghead: My driver side lock actuator went bad. Removed the whole latch and the actuator. My problem is that the actuator that is on the car is a bit diferent that the one I order from an auto part according to their catalog. The same thing happen when I went to a Chevy dealer. The one on my car looks the same as the one on the dealer and auto zone but mine has an extra part that a plunger from the latch goes into and i looks like is for an electrical contact. The dealer did not know what it was for either and I can not get the same actuator. I can not use the car because it does not have a door latch and I do not want too put it back with out the actuator.
