No reverse on 5spd.

My 95 will not get into reverse. All the other gears are good and i can't go into reverse. Its not that it won't stick, its like blocked or something. Any help?

Forks are probably bent inside tranny, or synchro's are messed up... ugh something like that = new transmission :( A rebuild of the transmission is just more expensive than replacing it with a used one. If you do replace the tranny, might as well replace the clutch too, it's worth it.

My first gear (before i replaced tranny) did that and i'd have to put stick into second to align the synchro's then push into first gear.

Err sorry, I'm not sure what those are.

On another section of the forum some people told me that they have sliders of reach gear. I'm gonna have to take the tranny out this weekend.:banghead:
