My ac has just started to make this very loud humming vibrating noise when its on especially when I turn it on max.The gas pedal even vibrates a little bit....there is only one setting that doesnt make any vibration at all.It still blows very cold.It has always made some weird kind of noise when the ac was on but mostly just when i turn the wheels...it never really bothered me that much but this is just continuous no matter what....any help would be appreciated.

Does the vibrating and humming vary in intensity if you increase/decrease fan speed?

exactly....if I have it low you can barely hear it and cant feel anything but when I turn it all the way up its like an airplane is landing in my front seat....and you can feel it on the pedals...

You need to replace the blower motor, the bearings are worn out in your existing motor.

We need to know the year of your car and if you have auto climate control (ACC) with digital display, or do you have the manual system; then we can answer these questions.:sunglasse

This one is a "Factory Air brand from Advanced/Parts America & cost $47.77. It does include the blower wheel. Since you have the manual system, it should be OK to run the fan on low until you get a new one. (Don't wait too long) The reason I ask about it being ACC or manual is; the ACC system uses a blower control module to vary voltage to the blower motor. If the motor is failing, it is pulling higher amps than normal and can cause the module to fail. These modules cost about 190 bucks now at the dealer! :uhoh:
