Yeah - from a BMW. The main pan design is better for the BMW. Looks like it holds more fluid and the fill plug is on the side of the pan, rather than on the bottom. I wonder why the Isuzu version is different. Clearance? Exhaust or 4wd components in the way?

I've been changing my fluid regularly, but after that photo I think I'll pull the overdrive pan sometime soon. :eek2:

I didn't find the bottom of my overdrive pan to have a ton of paste when I dropped it. I only did it once in the vehicle's life, but I swap some fluid often. I'll guess yours isn't that bad!

I took out the overdrive pan by accident because I thought the gasket was leaking, turn out that it was the accumulator piston. But when I look at the OD pan, it wasn't that bad... as long as you change your tranny fluid frequently.
